Probably like many people in many areas of the USA, I get sick and tired of being sick and tired about the Disney-esque way that my local world is presented by our local corporate media wizards, or the hordes of bad PR agents working to sell the fantasy viewpoint that EVERYTHING IS JUST FINE AND DANDY in our Grand City of Dayton, Ohio.

Real Photos from the Streets of Dayton, Ohio 09-14-05

Local metal collectors head up First Street to
cash in their loot for the day before cleaning
up for the Rhine McClin for Mayor rally.

A monument on the side of a beauty supply store on
Gettysburg Ave. for another irrelevant dead
pretend gangster named after a suggary drink.

East end man walks his weapon, er pit bull, down
the street while terrified children walk home from school.
This is a social phenomenon that the 82nd Airborne could
take care of in, oh, a couple of hours.

Two crack pimps sleep in the doorway of a crack house
on the corner of of Filmore and Wyoming Streets in
broad daylight.

The local black muslim temple on Gettysburg Ave. has
done such a great job safeguarding the community
that they have to put bars on every window.

Taking a leisurely stroll down Wyoming Ave. in
front of Patterson Kennedy School per invitation
of the staff for "career day."
